Welcome to Studio 11! I’m extremely honored to begin our ninth year here at the Studio. Starting dance at just the age of three, it became clear that this was the profession meant for me. I have done competitive dance for over 15 years and was part of the performing arts program in my high school. Upon graduating, I knew that opening and running my own business was where I wanted to be. Working with children of all ages and seeing all of their dreams come true made me realize that it was time for me to follow my dreams as well. I have officially graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in business management. I’m beyond excited to work with children and families while sharing a fun and nurturing environment.
Studio 11 has been established in memory of my mom, Joann Tabeek, who was lost on September 11th, 2001. All throughout my childhood, my mom, dad and family have been true supporters in pushing me to follow all of my dreams and this year is the moment I make it all happen. I follow in my father’s footsteps, in which he owns and operates the James and Joann Tabeek Memorial Softball League in both my mother and brothers honor. He has given to numerous charities across the Island throughout the past 28 years. My plan is to do just the same, in giving to many charities across Staten Island and making a positive impact on all those who are in need of our love and support! I give all my gratitude to my mother and father as well as all my family and friends for pushing me in making all my dreams come true!
